Charlotte Scott
Owner and instructor
Charlotte started pole dancing in 2011 and just one year later she started teaching pole dance to other people, and she has never looked back! Fast forward to 2017 and she decided it was time to start up her own pole business - and do things her way.
She studied to become a qualified gym instructor and personal trainer, and immediately started working towards opening her own brand new studio! She came up with the name 'Personal Pole' because she wants it to be personal for the individual - not everybody has the same reason for taking part in this sport, so it is important to her that her clients get what they want from it. Whether they want to lose weight, tone muscle, gain confidence, feel sexier, or simply have fun!
Charlotte says "I can't express my passion for teaching pole fitness, and I feel very lucky to be one of the rare people who doesn't dread work but rather the opposite. Seeing people progress and achieve their personal goals is an incredible feeling and awesome to be a part of!"

Stephanie Jones
Instructor
Steph has been pole dancing since 2011, and has a keen interest in the strength and fitness side of pole. Steph has experience in choreographing and giving public pole performances, and enjoys focusing on conditioning, tricks and long combos. Steph is also a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer, offering pole-specific workout plans and coaching, and is XPERT certified.

Gwen Derrick
Instructor
Gwen started pole dancing in 2020 and instantly clicked with it. The main benefit of pole for Gwen is that she gets to exercise with a creative result to show for it, not just a bodily change. Pole has completely changed her mindset and she has come to view her body as an instrument, not an ornament.
Gwen loves the different aspects involved with pole dancing, but she is especially obsessed with strength-based moves, tricks, and flips. She also tends to do most of her training on spin pole, so a combination of these elements really is the ultimate joy for her.
Whilst teaching, Gwen likes to focus on gaining strong foundations for moves, as she feels that building the strength and ability to safely perform moves is paramount. She is all about consistency, perfection is a bonus!
Gwen loves empowering students with the strength and technical knowledge they need to link various moves smoothly and ultimately continue the development of their personal style using the solid foundations they have built in class.

Fay Gardner
Instructor
Fay found pole in 2020 and for the first time she had an amazing outlet for expression and self-discovery. Her favourite thing is learning new transitions and tricks and putting them together in a way that fits what she's trying to achieve. Fay loves being on this journey herself, and seeing others on theirs, finding some fun in the sequences she throws at them, is awesome.

Beth Williams
Instructor
Beth started pole dancing in university in 2018 and after taking a short break, joined the Personal Pole studio in January 2020 and never looked back!
Pole dance is very important to Beth and she couldn’t imagine life without it!
As someone who is naturally shy and unconfident, pole has been amazing in aiding her confidence and self-esteem, and she loves how strong it has made her.
She never feels more free and happy than when she is in the studio with the music blasting and she is just dancing away.
She loves the dancing/flow element of pole, and will find any excuse to get her heels on! She loves to freestyle, and creating combos of moves from all levels of pole, as well as putting them to music for routines, that’s really Beth's passion.
Beth is level 1 and 2 XPERT certified.
